We are qualified to bring you the best quality.

Our story

Established in 2026.

We are Drew (3+ years in the vinyl/sign industry) and Amy (business operations & accounting).

We started Obsidian Auto Wraps because we wanted to bring the same high-quality you get from big name shops, at the price that makes sense for your needs. We want to be the shop that gives you the extra attention because you are valued, and your vehicle is honored. People spend good money on wraps, so they should get good value and return from their money.

Also Drew wanted to bring his dream of wrapping all the cool cars with anime wraps to life too.

Early in his life Drew had a love for graphic design. He endlessly dabbled on Photoshop; drawing anime, manipulating photos, and creating custom designs in his free time. He started a business at 17 in his home in Kearney, MO, a graphic design studio he named Colossal Creations Inc., that he operated solo. He mainly designed T-Shirts, flyers and CD covers for local Kansas City bands. He created graphics for events, and custom logos for businesses. This evolved further when he joined Skate 4 Peace at 19, getting involved with a local charity for skateboarders creating the graphics for the brand. This would include skateboard designs, T-shirts, hats, stickers and flyers.

Drew started his vinyl journey with a want to customize his car, and a passion to learn. He was given a great opportunity for that at Harris Design in Eugene, OR. Going from wrapping a car hood and some headlights outside his apartment, to wrapping hundreds of cars and commercial vehicles a year at a top quality shop, he’s gained the experience and conquered the challenges of vinyl wrapping. This plus his background of graphic design has given him the skills and knowledge to bring the best ideas to life, from start to finish. He is hands on from step one in our processes, designing your graphics and realizing your visions, to the careful hands on installation.

Amy has been documenting and sharing life from the moment it was possible. She has been studying the algorithms, the trends, what keeps attention, and how different video styles are formatted. Now that she is documenting the process of car wraps and the life of starting a small business, it is time to truly to put what she has learned to the test. Still a novice and learning every day the digital presence of Obsidian Auto Wraps has strong and steady growth. She believes transparency garners trust and that sharing will inspire new projects to come our way. There was no way Amy could have known that when she recorded their lives and subsequently Drew’s growth through the vinyl industry that it could turn into her own journey as a content creator.

Amy is crunching the numbers. She has always had a mathematical mind and excelled in mathematics during her academic years. Perfect for balancing the creative mind as Drew applies his art form. As she dives into being the accountant for Obsidian Auto Wraps she has a lineage to lean back on. She has family in accounting and is eager to learn going into this chapter of life.

We found each other in Kansas City, MO in 2015. Within our first year together, we ran away to Eugene, OR where we quickly fell in love with the state and all it’s wonders. We have 2 fluffy kitties, they’re old. One is a diabetic, and the other is orange. We are currently engaged and one day hope to get married and expand our beautiful family. When we aren’t working hard at the business, you can find us exploring nature and finding rocks, or you might see us at KumoriCon cosplaying our favorite character of the season.
